Halloween is approaching all our Nook Island Getaways! While candy, pumpkins, and new clothes are for sale, there’s one other pair of additions that’ll make the holiday extra frightful. For the first time since launch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has added new skin and eye colors to add that extra touch to your costumes. Read on for how to add them to your collection and make the most of your trick-or=treating!!

Where do I go for Halloween make-up in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Just like with additional hairstyles and colors, you’ll pick up the Halloween make-up from the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. Once there, check out the Nook Mile Redemption menu and you can find both Body-Paint Costume Tips and Exploring New Eye Colors. Each will cost you 2,400 Nook Miles.

How do I change my skin and eye color for Halloween costumes?

If you’re feeling spooky (or just want to try a new look any time of the year), you can check out the new skin and eye colors you’ve just picked up by going to and interacting with any mirror in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s as simple as any other character appearance changes! Check out all the Halloween skin tone and eye color options:

Be sure to check in with the Able Sisters every day for other new costume and clothing items, and if Kicks comes to town, make sure to swing by his stand, too. Our favorite chum will be selling wings that you can wear on your back (as a bag item) to take your frights (flights?) even further. Of course, you’ll want to be checking out Nook’s Cranny for your daily candy purchase, Spooky series furniture, and pumpkins, too!
