In the world of Pokémon GO, it has been nearly two years since the last Incense Day was announced. It’s back for October 2023 and since we’re in the midst of the Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part I event, the event will give us a short break from catching Ghost-type Pokémon. Skorupi, along with a variety of Bug- and Poison-type Pokémon, will be featured. These (adorable or not) “creepy” crawlies will take turns spawning each hour, save for Skorupi (which will be available the entire event). Do keep in mind that the Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part I event will still be happening at the same time, so that event’s bonuses and more will also be active. (For more details about the Season of Adventures Abound, you can check out our overall Season of Adventures Abound guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Incense Day: Skorupi event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Adventures Abound – Incense Day: Skorupi

Begins: Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 11 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at 5 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon featured – Skorupi

As the event name implies, Skorupi will be featured during the Incense Day: Skorupi event. Yet, other Pokémon will be appearing when Incense is activated – a variety of Bug- or Poison-type Pokémon. But, keep in mind that the event’s bonuses will make Skorupi a priority when Incense is activated.

Event Bonuses

  • Incense is more likely to attract Skorupi.
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Skorupi.
  • Daily Adventure Incense lasts twice as long when activated during the event.
