The Season of World of Wonders is almost over, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any more Ultra Beast or Pokémon debuts for Pokémon GO. For the Ultra Space Wonders event, Trainers can evolve their Poipole into Naganadel, battle Stakataka and/or Blacephalon in Five-Star Raids, and Shiny Mareanie may be wandering out in the wild. (For more details about the Season of World of Wonders, you can check out our overall Season of World of Wonders guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Ultra Space Wonders event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of World of Wonders – Ultra Space Wonders

Begins: Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Naganadel, Stakataka, Blacephalon, and Shiny Mareanie

There are technically five debuts for the Ultra Space Wonders event – three Ultra Beasts and two Shiny Pokémon.

  • Naganadel: Trainers will be able to evolve Poipole into Naganadel when this event kicks off! To do so, Trainers will need to fulfill a Buddy Pokémon requirement (catch 20 Dragon-type Pokémon with Poipole as your Buddy Pokémon) and have 200 Poipole Candies. Once these requirements are met, you’ll be able to evolve your Poipole into Naganadel.
  • Stakataka and Blacephalon: These Ultra Beasts will be available to challenge (and catch) in Five-Star Raid battles. Similar to Celesteela and Kartana, Stakataka and Blacephalon will be region locked.
    • Stakataka will only appear in Five-Star Raids in the Eastern Hemisphere.
    • Blacephalon will only appear in Five-Star Raids in the Western Hemisphere.
  • Shiny Mareanie: If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Mareanie in the wild or via Field Research and Collection Challenge and paid Timed Research catch reward encounters.
    • Shiny Toxapex: Since Shiny Mareanie is available, Shiny Toxapex will be too. You’ll need to acquire one by evolving a Shiny Mareanie with 50 Mareanie Candies.

Event Bonuses

  • 2× XP for winning Ultra Beast Raid Battles

Also, the Incense Day: Ferroseed event will be happening on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.your local time, so the following bonuses will be active (during that timeframe):

  • Incense is more likely to attract Ferroseed
