A new season begins in Pokémon GO which means a new season of Pokémon debuts. For the Season of Timeless Travels, the first event will be a simple Raid Day shindig. As for who’s featured, this is where the Season of Timeless Travels begins to introduce more Pokémon from the Hisui region into Pokémon GO. Trainers, now you can add Hisuian Samurott to your team, provided you can defeat one in a Three-Star Raid! (For more details about the Season of Timeless Travels, you can check out our overall Season of Timeless Travels guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Hisuian Samurott Raid Day with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Timeless Travels – Hisuian Samurott Raid Day

Begins: Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at 2 p.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 at 5 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Hisuian Samurott

Hisuian Samurott is the first of the Hisui region’s Starter Pokémon to enter the world of Pokémon GO. During the event, Hisuian Samurott (including its  Shiny version) will be available to catch after defeating one in a Three-Star Raid. Given the event hours, chances are that most Gyms hosting Raids will feature Hisuian Samurott.

Event Bonuses

  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 from Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at 4 p.m. to Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at 7 p.m. PST.
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Hisuian Samurott.
  • Hisuian Samurott will appear more frequently in raids!

Paid Event Ticket Bonuses

Trainers can purchase an event ticket (priced at US$4.99 OR US$5.00 OR the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) that will give them extra bonuses on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. your local time (that time frame includes five hours after the event ends in their time zone).

According to Niantic, “[t]ickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).” Tickets can also be gifted to Trainers you’re friends with provided that you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with them. This can be done via the in-game shop and by selecting the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button. Tickets purchased for friends are nonrefundable as well.

These event ticket bonuses will be active on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. your local time:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL
