The last final evolved form of the Hisui Starter Pokémon is finally here in Pokémon GO – Hisuian Decidueye! Just like with Hisuian Samurott debuting in December 2023 and Hisuian Typhlosion in January 2024, Hisuian Decidueye will be available during a dedicated Raid Day event. For three hours, Trainers can battle and catch their very own Hisuian Decidueye and may even encounter a shiny one. (For more details about the Season of Timeless Travels, you can check out our overall Season of Timeless Travels guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Hisuian Decidueye Raid Day event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Timeless Travels – Hisuian Decidueye Raid Day

Begins: Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at 2 p.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at 5 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Hisuian Decidueye

Hisuian Decidueye is the star of the event and can only be found in Three-Star Raids. Plus, its shiny version will also debut – so if you’re lucky, you may encounter a shiny one!

Event Bonuses

  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
  • The Remote Raid limit will be increased to 20 on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, from 4 p.m. to Sunday, February 11th, 2024, 7 p.m. PST.
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Hisuian Decidueye.
  • Hisuian Decidueye will appear more frequently in raids!

Also, this event overlaps with the Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed event, so the following bonuses will also be active:

  • Additional Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
  • Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
  • Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades.
  • Increased chance to become Lucky Friends.
  • Festive fireworks will light up the skies.
  • Additional Wild Encounters (seven different Pokémon species that haven’t been featured already).
  • Featured attacks for five different Pokémon.
  • An additional Pokémon appearing in One-Star Raids.
  • An additional Pokémon appearing in Three-Star Raids.

Paid Event Ticket Bonuses

Trainers can purchase an event ticket (priced at US$4.99 OR US$5.00 OR the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) that will give them extra bonuses on Sunday, February 11th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. your local time (that time frame includes five hours after the event ends in their time zone). This ticket will be available for purchase until Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at 5 p.m. your local time.

According to Niantic, “[t]ickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).” Tickets can also be gifted to Trainers you’re friends with provided that you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with them. This can be done via the in-game shop and by selecting the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button. Tickets purchased for friends are nonrefundable as well.

These event ticket bonuses will be active on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. your local time:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles

Event Boxes

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Keep in mind that the Hisuian Typholsion Raid Day event in January 2024 had the following boxes available:

  • Raid Box (on sale for 595 PokéCoins): 3 Premium Battle Passes, 3 Remote Raid Passes, and 1 Egg Incubator.
  • Ultra Raid Box ($4.99 via the Pokémon GO Web Store):  3 Premium Battle Passes, 3 Remote Raid Passes, and 1 Egg Incubator.

These boxes may or may not return. This section will be updated once the event begins.

Standard and Shadow Raids will be active during the event, but Three-Star Raids featuring Hisuian Decidueye will be boosted.

Standard Raids

The following Pokémon will be appearing in Raids:

  • One-Star Raids: Dratini*, Deino*, Goomy*, and Jangmo-o.
  • Three-Star Raids: Salamance*, Druddigon*, Turtonator*, Drampa*, and Hisuian Decidueye*.

Additional Notes:

  • Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”
  • Standard Raids:
    • Hisuian Decidueye* will be the focus of this event, so a majority of active Raids will be the Three-Star Raids featuring Hisuian Decidueye*.
    • Mega Latias* and Mega Latios* will be available after the event (in Mega Raids), until Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.
  • Shadow Raids:
    • One- and Three-Star Shadow Raids will be available daily.
    • Five-Star Shadow Raids will be available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), unless otherwise stated by Niantic.
      • The appearance rate of Shadow Articuno* during the event may be decreased due to the priority given to Hisuian Decidueye*.
