Even though the Season of Timeless Travels had an almost week-long GO Battle event in January, there’s still room for a GO Battle Day event. There’s nothing too fancy happening with this GO Battle Day event, just the usual increased battle sets and some free Timed Research. Outside of the event, Trainers can watch an official Pokémon GO stream on Twitch and learn some tips and tricks when it comes to the GO Battle League. Pokémon GO’s Season of Timeless Travels – GO Battle Day
Begins: Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at 12 a.m. your local time.
Ends: Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
Event Bonuses
- 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include the end-of-set rewards and will not stack with the 4× Stardust bonus in February.)
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include various battle items and XP.
- Official Twitch stream (via the official Pokémon GO channel) at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th, 2024.
- Twitch Drops will be available and include Charged TMs, Fast TMs, and more.
The GO Battle Day event also overlaps with the Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed event. The following bonuses will also be active:
- Additional Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
- Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades.
- Increased chance to become Lucky Friends.
- Festive fireworks will light up the skies.
- Additional Wild Encounters (seven different Pokémon species that haven’t been featured already).
- Featured attacks for five different Pokémon.
- An additional Pokémon appearing in One-Star Raids.
- An additional Pokémon appearing in Three-Star Raids.

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Currently, it doesn’t appear that any will be available (due to overlapping with the Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed event).
Timed Research – GO Battle Day
A free Timed Research quest called GO Battle Day will be active during the event. A complete list of tasks for all routes and the rewards will be shared here once the event is live.
- Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 5 times
- Reward: 7,500 XP
- Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times
- Reward: 7,500 XP
- Task: Use 10 Super Effective Charged Attacks
- Reward: 7,500 XP
- Task: Power up Pokémon 10 times
- Reward: 7,500 XP
- Completion Rewards: 3 Rare Candies and 1 Elite Charged TM
Active Competitions
The following leagues will be active:
- Master League
- Evolution Cup: Great League Edition
- Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
- Only Pokémon that have evolved at least once and can evolve again will be eligible.
