Pokémon GO’s Season of Max Out’s GO Battle Weekend: Max Out event guide

Kicking off November, Trainers can enjoy some extra matches in the GO Battle League during a GO Battle Weekend event. Paid and Free-time Research will be available along with Stardust bonuses. Pokémon GO’s Season of Max Out – GO Battle Weekend: Max Out

Begins: Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at 12 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.

 

Event Bonuses

• 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
• The maximum number of sets you can play per day will increase from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
• Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Rewards include shoes for your avatar inspired by Allister.
• Pokémon encountered via GO Battle League rewards will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.
• For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency),paid battle-themed Timed Research will be available. Complete it to earn 30,000 Stardust, 3 Rare Candies, and 1 Star Piece.

 

Event Boxes

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Daily bundles are also available and can be viewed online via the Pokémon GO Web Store.

 

Free Timed Research – GO Battle Week: Max Out

A special free Timed Research will be available and its tasks will focus on battling. Trainers who complete the research can look forward to the following rewards: an Avatar Item based on Allister’s shoes (from Pokémon Sword and Shield) and more. Niantic does note that Trainers who already own Allister-Style Shoes, an avatar item distributed at Rank 20 (Ace Rank), will not receive another one.

 

 

Please keep in mind that Timed Research quests have deadlines. Trainers must complete and claim all rewards in this Timed Research by Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.

 

GO Battle Weekend

• Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 5 times
  • Reward: 7,500 XP
• Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times
  • Reward: 7,500 XP
• Task: Use 10 Super Effective Charged Attacks
  • Reward: 7,500 XP
• Task: Power up Pokémon 10 times
  • Reward: 7,500 XP
• Completion Rewards: 3 Rare Candies, 1 Elite Charged TM, and Allister-Style Shoes

 

Paid Timed Research – GO Battle Weekend: Max Out

During the GO Battle Weekend: Max Out event, Trainers can purchase a ticket to access an event-themed Timed Research. For US$0.99 OR US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll get the GO Battle Weekend: Max Out Timed Research which rewards Trainers with the following items (if tasks are completed within the time limit): 1 Star Piece, 3 Rare Candies, and 3 Rare Candy XL.

According to Niantic, “[t]ickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).” Tickets can also be gifted to Trainers you’re friends with provided that you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with them. This can be done via the in-game shop and by selecting the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button. Tickets purchased for friends are nonrefundable as well.

Please keep in mind that Timed Research quests have deadlines. Trainers must complete this Timed Research and claim all rewards before Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 11:59 p.m. your local time.

 

GO Battle Weekend: Max Out

• Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times
  • Reward: 6,000 Stardust
• Task:Battle in the GO Battle League 25 times
  • Reward: 6,000 Stardust
• Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 50 times
  • Reward: 6,000 Stardust
• Task: Use 15 Super Effective Charged Attacks
  • Reward: 6,000 Stardust
• Task: Power up Pokémon 10 times
  • Reward: 6,000 Stardust
• Completion Rewards: 3 Rare Candy XL, 3 Rare Candies, and 1 Star Piece

 

Active Leagues

The following leagues will be active:

• Great League
  • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
  • 4× Stardust from win rewards (this does not include end-of-set rewards)
• Ultra League
  • Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP to enter.
  • 4× Stardust from win rewards (this does not include end-of-set rewards)
• Master League
  • No CP limit.
  • 4× Stardust from win rewards (this does not include end-of-set rewards)

 

PokéStop Showcase

During the event, PokéStop Showcases will be active. The theme of these contests is to submit the biggest Pokémon being requested. This section will be updated once the PokéStop Showcases are active.

• Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at 6 a.m. to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 at 10 p.m. your local time: Gastly and Gengar (Costumed versions can be submitted)
