A modified version of the global Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration event returns this season for Trainers in India and Indonesia. For this month-long event, Trainers will get another chance to catch Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat via surprise encounters and catch reward encounters from Field Research tasks. Pokémon GO’s Season of Shared Skies – Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event in India and Indonesia

Begins: Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time.

 

Pokémon featured – Costumed Pikachu (Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat)

 

 

Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat is back for Trainers in India and Indonesia. If you’re looking to catch this Costumed Pikachu, you’ll want to complete event-exclusive Field Research tasks and/or take snapshots to summon a surprise encounter.

 

Note: Going forward, these Pokémon will be referred to as “Costumed” rather than the exact outfit they are wearing.

 

Event Bonuses

  • Smile! You might have a surprise encounter with characters and Pokémon seen in Pokémon Horizons: The Series when you take a snapshot during the event! (Photobomb encounters with Charizard*, Costumed Pikachu*, Sprigatito, and/or Fuecoco.)

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Daily bundles can be viewed at Pokémon GO’s Web Store.

 

Featured Attack for Costumed Pikachu

Costumed Pikachu will know the attack Volt Tackle (Charged Attack) when caught during the event.

Volt Tackle’s (Charged  Attack) stats are as follows:

  • Trainer Battles: 90 power +  decrease your opponent’s Defense stat by one stage
  • Gyms and Raids: 90 power

 

Field Research Tasks

There will be event-exclusive Field Research Tasks available and the rewards include the following Pokémon encounters: Costumed Pikachu*. These Field Research Tasks can be found when spinning PokéStops (and acquired if you have an open slot in your Field Research menu) when the event is active.

    • Reward: Costumed Pikachu* Encounter
  • Task: Win a Raid
    • Reward: Costumed Pikachu* Encounter

 

Note: Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”

 

PokéStop Showcase

During the event, PokéStop Showcases will be active. The theme of these contests is to submit the biggest Pokémon being requested. This section will be updated throughout the event.

  • Monday, June 17th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: All Water-type Pokémon
  • Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Cyndaquil and Typhlosion (including Hisuian Typhlosion)
  • Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: All Fire-type Pokémon
  • Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, June 30th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Meltan
  • Monday, July 1st, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Grimer (including Costumed Grimer) and Meltan
  • Saturday, July 6th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Ducklett
  • Monday, July 8th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: All Water-type Pokémon
  • Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Necrozma
