The 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships are happening this weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana. Competitors will be battling it out in Pokémon GO, Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and Pokémon UNITE to secure an invitation to Pokémon Worlds in August. To celebrate the event, Pokémon GO will have an event-exclusive Timed Research, but that will only be available via Twitch Drops. Pokémon GO’s Season of Shared Skies – 2024 Pokémon North America International International Championships
Begins: Friday, June 7th, 2024
Ends: Sunday, June 9th, 2024
Event Bonuses
For Trainers that are at the 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships, the following bonuses will be active only at the event:
- 100 additional Stardust per catch
- 3-hour standard Lure Module duration
- Event-themed Pokémon attracted to standard Lure Modules
- Event-exclusive Timed Research now available
- Three Special Trades for the day

Twitch Drops (Timed Research)
For the entire weekend of Friday, June 7th, through Sunday, June 9th, 2024, you’ll be able to watch thrilling Pokémon battles live from New Orleans, Louisiana. Plus, Trainers who watch at least 30 minutes of the NAIC livestream can receive a code via Twitch Drops for an exclusive Timed Research opportunity to catch an Altaria used by MEWeedle, winner of the 2024 Europe International Championships!
Trainers can watch the livestream on the official Pokémon GO Twitch channel and the official Pokémon YouTube channel. To get the Timed Research, you must watch via Twitch for at least 30 minutes. (For more information about Twitch Drops, check out this Pokémon Support page.)
The livestream will be available during the following times:
- Friday, June 7th, 2024: 6 a.m. PT | 9 a.m. ET to 4 p.m. PT | 7 p.m. ET
- Saturday, June 8th, 2024: 6 a.m. PT | 9 a.m. ET to 4 p.m. PT | 7 p.m. ET
- Sunday, June 9th, 2024: 6 a.m. PT | 9 a.m. ET to end of event
Timed Research – 2024 Pokémon EUIC’s Champion
This Timed Research will reward Trainers with an encounter with Altaria, Swablu Candy, Stardust, Fast TMs, and Charged TMs. All rewards must be claimed by Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 7 p.m. your local time.
