The new Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global 2024 event is almost here! Leading up to this event, Trainers can prepare with the Into the Wild event. Toxel debuts worldwide, Dialga and Palkia’s Origin Formes are back in Five-Star Raids, Dynamax Drilbur will be featured in a Max Mondays event (so Trainers can have a type advantage against Gigantamax Toxtricity), and more. (For more details about the Season of Max Out, you can check out our Season of Max Out guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Into the Wild event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Max Out – Into the Wild

Begins: Monday, November 18th, 2024 at 12:01 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Toxel and Shiny Toxel + return of Nihilego, Tapu Koko, Dialga (Origin Forme), and Palkia (Origin Forme)

Ahead of the GO Wild Area: Global 2024 event, Toxel will debut worldwide! Trainers looking to acquire Toxel will want to collection 10 km Eggs during the Into the Wild event (and afterwards, as Toxel will be added to the 10 km Egg pool for the remainder of the Season of Max Out). Unfortunately, we don’t know the evolution requirements for turning Toxel into Toxtricity yet (as well as any requirements for their Amped Form or Low Key Form). And, finally, if you’re lucky, you might event hatch a Shiny Toxel!

Also, as this event is the “lead up” event for the GO Wild Area: Global 2024 event, we’ll seen a variety of Pokémon featured in Raids. Notably, Nihilego, Tapu Koko, Dialga (Origin Forme), and Palkia (Origin Forme). Each will be featured in a daily Raid Hour event beginning on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024.

Event Bonuses

  • The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20 from Monday, November 18th, to Thursday, November 21st, 2024 (exact start times not given).
  • There will be no limit on Remote Raids from Friday, November 22nd, to Sunday, November 24th, 202 (exact start times not given).
  • On Monday, November 18th, there will be an increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Max Battles when challenging Dynamax Drilbur (may be limited to the Max Mondays “hour” only).

Plus, additional bonuses are available when Trainers purchase the Into the Wild: Raids Ticket and/or the Into the Wild: Hatch Ticket. Each ticket will give Trainers a Timed Research quest associated with the theme (battling in Raids or hatching Eggs) along with some bonuses. These tickets can be purchased individual in-game, as well as purchased via the Pokémon GO Web Store in a bundle (that comes with additional items). (These bonuses will NOT be active during the GO Wild Area: Global 2024 event. Four-Star Raids aren’t active during the Into the Wild event, but are during the GO Wild Area: Global 2024 event.)
