Available during the Season of World of Wonders, Niantic released another Masterwork Research. Instead of focusing on a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, this particular research allows Trainers another chance at getting a Master Ball. Other rewards were issued during the Masterwork Research (items, Pokémon encounters, etc.), but the main prize is the guaranteed catch power of a Master Ball.

The Masterwork Research Story was issued for free at the start of the Cathing Wonders event. Rewards included in this Masterwork Research are 1 Master Ball, Stardust, XP, Berries, various Pokémon encounters, and more.
