Takara Tomy has announced the return of a particular collection of Legend of Zelda merchandise, with new additions doubling its previous total.
Spotted on the company’s website by Siliconera, the expanded Historical Charms+ set includes Triforce-shaped collectibles commemorating 12 games in the Zelda series.
The collection will debut in Japan in October 2026 via gachapon machines, with each pull costing ¥300 (approximately $2). There is currently no confirmation of a release in other territories.
The charms will honor the following titles:
- The Legend of Zelda
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (2019 remake)
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Takara Tomy’s original set, released in 2017, only referenced six of the Zelda games listed above.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series. A special Nintendo Direct commemorating the milestone went live earlier this month, revealing the release date of the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake and extensive gameplay footage of the game.
Other announcements included a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 and Pro Controller, Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo, an update on the live-action movie, and a series of anniversary concerts starting in 2027.
