Distribution
Begins: Friday, November 6th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time.
Ends: Sunday, November 8th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
Timed Research Duration
Begins: Friday, November 6th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time.
Ends: Sunday, November 15th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
Pokémon featured – Gigantamax Machamp
To help your Gigantamax Battle against Gigantamax Duraludon and others during this year’s GO Wild Area event, Gigantamax Machamp will be available as a catch reward encounter via a free Timed Research. If you’re participating in the global version of the GO Wild Area event, you’ll have at least a week to catch and train your Gigantamax Machamp for the weekend-long event.
Timed Research – GO Wild Area: Gigantamax Machamp Power Up!
A Timed Research quest called GO Wild Area: Gigantamax Machamp Power Up! will be issued to Trainers who log in during the distribution time for free. Rewards include an encounter with Gigantamax Machamp, Machop Candy (both regular and XL), Max Particles, Stardust, and Ultra Balls. Just make sure to complete all tasks and claim all rewards prior to Sunday, November 15th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
- Task: Explore 5 km
- Reward: Gigantamax Machamp* encounter
- Task: Catch a Pokémon on 2 different days
- Reward: 110 Machop Candies
- Task: Catch a Pokémon on 3 different days
- Reward: 600 Max Particles
- Task: Catch a Pokémon on 4 different days
- Reward: 45 Machop Candy XL
- Task: Catch a Pokémon on 5 different days
- Reward: 800 Max Particles
- Completion Rewards: 30,000 Stardust and 10 Ultra Balls
