Pokémon GO’s Season of Memories in Motion is focused on celebrating the game’s 10th anniversary (or, at least leading up to the big day, as the season shall end a month before the game’s actual anniversary). One of this season’s features is Daily Discoveries, where different events and/or perks will happening Sunday through Friday. Already there were longstanding events for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so it was quite the surprise when Daily Discoveries didn’t list the six-year running Spotlight Hour for Tuesday. Instead, Trainers will be getting Showcase Tuesday.
For the entire day (12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.), PokéStop Showcases will be active. There will be up to 20 categories active. It is implied that the categories will be switched up throughout the season.
Since this is a new event, it is unclear if Showcase Tuesday will only be held during the Season of Memories of Motion or if the beloved Spotlight Hour event will return.
