Trainers will be able to get another Master Ball during the Season of World of Wonders with its next event – Catching Wonders. No Pokémon will be featured (or debuting) during this event, but Trainers can get a free Masterwork Research quest and start tackling this challenging questline. Pokémon GO’s Season of World of Wonders – Catching Wonders

Begins: Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time.

 

Featured – Masterwork Research (Master Ball opportunity)

 

 

No Pokémon are being spotlighted for this event, but instead, Trainers will get another opportunity to get another Master Ball. This Master Ball will be a reward in a new Masterwork Research that will be made available for free to all Trainers at the start of the event.

 

Event Bonuses

  • 10× XP awarded for your first catch of the day.
  • 10× XP awarded for your first PokéStop or Gym spin of the day.
  • 5× Stardust awarded for your first catch of the day.

Featured Attack for Tapu Fini

Tapu Fini will know the attack Nature’s Madness (Charged Attack) when caught from Five-Star Raids between Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, at 10 a.m. to Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at 10 a.m. your local time. You can also teach Tapu Fini this move with the aid of an Elite Charged TM.

Nature’s Madness’s (Charged Attack) stats are as follows:

  • Trainer Battles:  80 power +  decrease your opponent’s Defense stat
  • Gyms and Raids:  90 power

 

Field Research Tasks

There will be event-exclusive Field Research Tasks available and the rewards include the following rewards: Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls. These Field Research Tasks can be found when spinning PokéStops (and acquired if you have an open slot in your Field Research menu) when the event is active.

  • Task: Catch 5 Pokémon
    • Reward: 500 Stardust OR 1,000 XP
  • Task: Catch 10 Pokémon
    • Reward: 1,250 Stardust OR 2,500 XP
  • Task: Catch 5 different species of Pokémon
    • Reward: 10 Poké Balls OR 5 Great Balls OR 3 Ultra Balls

 

Masterwork Research: Catching Wonders

An event-exclusive Masterwork Research Story will be available. This Masterwork Research is treated like Special Research, so it will not expire once obtained. Rewards included in this Masterwork Research are 1 Master Ball, Stardust, XP, Berries, various Pokémon encounters, and more.
