For this year’s Valentine’s Day event in Pokémon GO, Trainers will have another chance to style a Furfrou with its Heart Trim. More Pokémon with heart shapes will also be featured, including Spinda’s heart pattern, but that will require Trainers to come together and complete a Global Challenge to unlock that encounter.

Pokémon GO’s Season of Precious Paths – Valentine’s Day 2026
Begins: Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time.
Ends: Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at 8 p.m. your local time.
Pokémon featured – Heart Trim Furfrou, Spinda with a heart pattern, Crown Nidoqueen, Crown Nidoking, and more
For this year’s Valentine’s Day event, the following Pokémon will be featured: Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Crown Nidoqueen, Crown Nidoking, Spinda, Gardevoir, Gallade, Furfrou, and Cherubi. Shiny rates for Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, and Cherubi will be increased. Crown Nidoqueen and Crown Nidoking will be available once again and will only be available in Three-Star Raids. Gardevoir and Gallade will have a featured Charged Attack during the event. And Spinda and Furfrou’s heart-themed styling will be available via a reward catch encounter (Spinda) or having the styling unlocked for the duration of the event (Furfrou).
Note: Going forward, Crown Nidoqueen and Crown Nidoking will be referred to as “Costumed” rather than the exact outfit they are wearing.
Event Bonuses
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Stardust from opening Gifts
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Nidoran♀ and Shiny Nidoran♂
- Increased chance to hatch Shiny Nidoran♀, Shiny Nidoran♂, and Shiny Cherubi
- If the Global Challenge is completed:
- Free Timed Research awarding encounters with Spinda with a heart pattern.
- Successfully catching a Pokémon with a Curveball Throw will award 750 XP.
- Gifts may include Rare Candy.
When the Therian Forme Enamorus Raid Day event is happening, the following bonuses will be active on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time unless otherwise stated:
- Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of six).
- This bonus will stack with the bonus of Tier 3 (Rank 75) in GO Pass: February for a total of seven free Raid Passes.
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Luvdisc and Shiny Furfrou from Raids.
- You can give your Furfrou the Heart Trim during this event!
- The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, February 13th, 2026 at 4 p.m. to Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 7 p.m. PST.
- If the Event Ticket is purchased:
- Receive up to eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14).
- This bonus will stack with the bonus of Tier 3 (Rank 75) in GO Pass: February for a total of 15 free Raid Passes.
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
- Receive up to eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14).
When the Gigantamax Meowth Max Battle Day event is happening, the following bonuses will be active on Sunday, February 15th, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time unless otherwise stated:
- Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently
- 8× Max Particles from Power Spots
- Up to four Special Trades for the day
- From February 14th, 2026 at 4 p.m. to February 15th, 2026 at 8 p.m. PST (GMT −8), the daily Remote Raid limit will increase from 10 to 20.
- 2× Max Particles from exploring (active on February 15th, 2026 from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. your local time)
- 1/4 Adventuring distance to receive Max Particles (active on February 15th, 2026 from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. your local time)
- If the Event Ticket is purchased: 2× XP from Max Battles
Plus, the following Season of Precious Paths bonuses will be in effect:
- One additional Special Trade per day
- Increased Stardust for the first catch of the day
- Increased friendship bonus damage dealt by Pokémon in Raids
And if Trainers reach specific ranks in the GO Pass and/or GO Pass Deluxe, then the following bonuses will also be active until Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time:
- Tier 1 (Rank 25):
- Open up to 40 Gifts per day
- Receive up to 125 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs
- Hold up to 10 additional Gifts in your Item Bag
- Tier 2 (Rank 50):
- 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration
- Tier 3 (Rank 75):
- Up to two free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs per day
- This bonus will not stack with the Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan and Los Angeles’ Raid Lover ticket add-on.
- Up to two free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs per day
If GO Pass Deluxe is purchased, then the following bonuses will also be active when Rank 25 is reached, until Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time:
- Tier 1 (Rank 25):
- Open up to 50 Gifts per day
- Receive up to 150 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs
- Hold up to 20 additional Gifts in your Item Bag
Event Boxes
If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Daily bundles are also available and can be viewed online via the Pokémon GO Web Store.
Global Challenge
A Global Challenge will be issued during this event. If Trainers can collectively send 100,000,000 Gifts to friends, then additional bonuses will be activated for the remaining duration of the event. These bonuses include:
- Free Timed Research awarding encounters with Spinda with a heart pattern.
- Successfully catching a Pokémon with a Curveball Throw will award 750 XP.
- Gifts may include Rare Candy.
Wild Encounters
- The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild: Nidoran♀*, Nidoran♂*, Jigglypuff*, Plusle*, Minun*, Feebas*, Luvdisc*, Munna*, Furfrou*, Spritzee*, Swirlix*, and Fomantis*.
- If you’re lucky, you might encounter the following Pokémon: Chansey* and Audino*.

Featured Attack for Gardevoir and Gallade
Gardevoir and Gallade will know the attack Synchronoise (Charged Attack) when caught from Three-Star Raids and/or evolved from Kirlia during the event. It may also be possible to teach Gardevoir and/or Gallade this move with the aid of an Elite Charged TM.
Synchronoise’s (Charged Attack) stats are as follows:
- Trainer Battles: 80 power
- Gyms and Raids: 80 power
Heart Trim Furfrou
During the Valentine’s Day event, the Heart Trim styling/cut can be given to a Natural Form Furfrou. In order to do thing, you’ll need to:
- Find Furfrou in your Pokémon Storage, tap it to check its summary, and then tap the Change Form button to bring up a menu that lists the available trims.
- Select your preferred trim.
- Changing your Furfrou from one trim to any other trim will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
Timed Research – ??? Global Challenge
A free Timed Research quest will be active during the event if Trainers complete the Global Challenge, which is to send 100,000,000 Gifts.
