The Valentine’s Day celebration continues in Pokémon GO with some sub-events. One will be focused on Limited Field Research Tasks, the other will reward Trainers in the GO Battle League, and both will be taking place during the weekend. First up though is the Limited Research Day event and it’ll feature the heart-shaped Pokémon, Luvdisc! Yes, most of the Valentine’s Day Event activities/bonuses will be live during this sub-event, but the Wild Pokémon pool will be shaken up while new Field Research Tasks are briefly introduced.
Check out all the details for the Luvdisc Limited Research Day event with our guide below:
Pokémon GO’s Season of Mythical Wishes – Luvdisc Limited Research Day
Begins: Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 2 p.m. your local time.
Ends: Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 5 p.m. your local time.
Pokémon featured – Luvdisc and more
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the heart-shaped Pokémon, Luvdisc, will be the star of Limited Field Research Tasks. All Limited Field Research Tasks obtained during the event will reward Trainers with a Luvdisc* catch encounter. Even better, shiny rates for Luvdisc will be increased!
In addition to Limited Field Research Tasks, Pokémon appearing the wild more frequently will be changed up. Now’s the time to catch Slowpoke*, Lickitung*, Miltank*, Lileep*, Feebas*, Spritzee*, and Fomantis in the wild. While Lickitung* and Miltank* are part of the overall Valentine’s Day Event, they’re either only present in Raids or via Eggs obtained during the event.
Note: Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”
Event Bonuses
