While plenty of spooky events are planned for Pokémon GO this October, a paid Timed Research will be padding Trainers’ Item Bags with extra goodies. Announced on Friday, September 29th, 2023, Niantic will be selling a month-long Timed Research dubbed Ticket of Treats. Separated into four parts, each chunk will be released during different Pokémon GO events happening during the Season of Adventures Abound. Pokémon GO’s Season of Adventures Abound – Ticket of Treats Timed Research
Begins: Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 12 a.m. your local time.
Ends: Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
Ticket of Treats Bonuses
Upon purchasing the Ticket of Treats Timed Research, the following bonuses will activate and be available until Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. your local time:
- 1.5× additional XP awarded for your first catch of the day
- 1.5× additional Stardust awarded for your first catch of the day
Ticket of Treats Parts 1 – 4 Information
For October 2023, Trainers can purchase a ticket to access a (sort of) month-long Timed Research. For US$4.99 OR US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll get the Ticket of Treats Timed Research. This Timed Research will be released in four parts throughout October 2023.
Sales for this Timed Research will end on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. your local time. According to Niantic, “[t]ickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).” Tickets can also be gifted to Trainers you’re friends with provided that you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with them. This can be done via the in-game shop and by selecting the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button. Tickets purchased for friends are nonrefundable as well.
Please keep in mind that Timed Research quests have deadlines. Trainers must complete and collect rewards from each part of the Ticket of Treats Timed Research by Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.
Ticket of Treats Parts 1 – 4 Release Dates
While available for sale on Sunday, October 1st, 2023 at 12 a.m. your local time, the Ticket of Treats Timed Research is split into four parts and will be released alongside various events happening in October 2023. Each part will end on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. your local time. Below are the dates for each release:
- Ticket of Treats Part 1
- Start: Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at 10 a.m. your local time. (The Detective Pikachu Returns event.)
- Ticket of Treats Part 2
- Start: Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at 10 a.m. your local time. (The Harvest Festival event.)
- Ticket of Treats Part 3
- Start: Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at 10 a.m. your local time. (The Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part I event.)
- Ticket of Treats Part 4
- Start: Thursday, October 26th,2023 at 10 a.m. your local time. (The Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part II event.)
Ticket of Treats Part 1
According to Niantic, “Raid Battles abound, Trainers. Just in time for Guzzlord’s return to five-star raids, Trainers can prepare to take on the Ultra Beast with this Timed Research.” Trainers will be rewarded with 3 Premium Battle Passes (a.k.a. the Green Raid Passes) and more.
