Pokemon GO’s Season of Max Out is diving into the Galar region with multiple debuts. Finally, the Galar region Starters will be in Pokémon GO (along with their evolved forms). It doesn’t stop there as Dreepy and Stonjourner debut. Plus Shiny Wooloo and Shiny Skwovet are here. Pokémon GO’s Season of Max Out – GO All Out

Begins: Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Monday, September 10th, 2024 at 10 a.m. your local time.

 

Pokémon debuts – Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Dreepy, Stonjourner (region exclusive), Shiny Skwovet, Shiny Wooloo, and evolutions

 

 

A whole slew of Galar region debuts will be featured during the GO All Out event:

  • Grookey: Available in the Wild, in 5 km Eggs, and in select Field Research task(s), Grookey will also be featured in the season’s Special Research Story (provided you choose the Grookey path).
    • Thwackey: To get Thwackey, you’ll need to evolve a Grookey with 25 Grookey Candies.
      • Rillaboom: To get a Rillaboom, you’ll need to evolve a Thwackey with 100 Grookey Candies.
  • Scorbunny: Available in the Wild, in 5 km Eggs, and in select Field Research task(s), Scorbunny will also be featured in the season’s Special Research Story (provided you choose the Scorbunny path).
    • Raboot: To get a Raboot, you’ll need to evolve a Scorbunny with 25 Scorbunny Candies.
      • Cinderace: To get a Cinderace, you’ll need to evolve a Raboot with 100 Scorbunny Candies.
  • Sobble: Available in the Wild, in 5 km Eggs, and in select Field Research task(s), Sobble will also be featured in the season’s Special Research Story (provided you choose the Sobble path).
    • Drizzile: To get a Drizzile, you’ll need to evolve a Sobble with 25 Sobble Candies.
      • Inteleon: To get an Inteleon, you’ll need to evolve a Drizzile with 100 Sobble Candies.
  • Dreepy: Deepy is only available in the Wild (if you’re lucky) and in 10 km Eggs.
    • Drakloak: To get a Drakloak, you’ll need to evolve a Dreepy with 25 Dreepy Candies.
      • Dragapult: To get a Dragapult, you’ll need to evolve a Drakloak with 100 Dreepy Candies.
  • Stonjourner (exclusive to the United Kingdom): Stonjourner will be available in the Wild only in the United Kingdom.
  • Shiny Skwovet: If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Skwovet. You can find Skwovet in the Wild, in select Field Research task(s), and a reward catch encounter for one of the event’s Collection Challenges.
    • Shiny Greedent: To get a Shiny Greedent, you’ll need to evolve a Shiny Skwovet with 50 Skwovet Candies.
  • Shiny Wooloo: If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Wooloo. You can find Wooloo in the Wild, in select Field Research task(s), and a reward catch encounter for one of the event’s Collection Challenges.
    • Shiny Dubwool: To get a Shiny Dubwool, you’ll need to evolve a Shiny Wooloo with 50 Wooloo Candies.

 

Event Bonuses

  • 2× XP for catching Pokémon
  • 2× XP for evolving Pokémon

 

Plus, the Falinks Raid Day event overlaps with the GO All Out event, so the following bonuses will be active on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time (unless stated):

  • Falinks will appear more frequently in Raids
    • For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Falinks—if you’re lucky!
  • Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Falinks from Raids
  • The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20 from Saturday, September 7th, at 5 p.m. to Sunday, September 8th, 2024, to 8 p.m. PDT.

 

Additional bonuses can be acquired when Trainers purchase the Falinks Raid Day Ticket. Once purchased, these bonuses will be active on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. your local time:

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
  • Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

 

Plus bonuses from the Daily PokéCoin Bounty Part 1 Ticket if purchased before Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.your local time.

 

Event Boxes

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live.

  • Max Particle Pack (US$7.99, Pokémon GO Web Store only): 6 Max Particle Packs (equals 4,800 Max Particles)
    • Available on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at 6 p.m. PDT. Max Particles will be used with Dynamax Pokémon.

 

Wild Encounters

  • The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild: Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Skwovet*, and Wooloo*.
    • If you’re lucky, you might encounter the following Pokémon: Dreepy.

The following Pokémon will be hatching from Eggs that are obtained during the event:

    • 5-Egg Rarity: Larvesta.
  • 7 km Eggs
    • 1-Egg Rarity: Galarian Meowth*, Galarian Ponyta*, Galarian Slowpoke*, Galarian Farfetch’d*, Galarian Zigzagoon*, Galarian Darumaka*, and Galarian Stunfisk*.
    • 3-Egg Rarity: Galarian Farfetch’d* and Galarian Yamask*.
  • 10 km Eggs
    • 1-Egg Rarity: Druddigon*, Carbink, Goomy*, and Jangmo-o*.
    • 3-Egg Rarity: Charcadet and Frigibax.

Raids

Standard and Shadow Raids will be active during the event. Raids will shift to prioritize Falinks Raids on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time due to the Falinks Raid Day event.

The following Pokémon will be appearing in Raids:

  • One-Star Raids: Galarian Meowth*, Galarian Slowpoke*, Galarian Zigzagoon*, Galarian Darumaka*, and Galarian Stunfisk*.
  • Three-Star Raids:
    • Galarian Weezing*, Azumarill, Lucario*, and Garbodor.
    • Falinks* (only on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time)
  • Five-Star Raids: Kyogre* (See Additional Notes).
  • Mega Raids: Mega Absol* (See Additional Notes).

 

Shadow Raids

The following Pokémon will be appearing in Shadow Raids:

These Field Research Tasks can be found when spinning PokéStops (and acquired if you have an open slot in your Field Research menu) when the event is active.

Special Research – Max Out

The Season of Max Out’s season-long Special Research Story will launch during the GO All Out event. Steps will be released throughout the season. Niantic states that this Special Research story will have branching paths (one for each Galar Starter). Depending on which partner Pokémon is chosen, your Postcard Book background will change for the Season.

This Special Research Story will be free and can be claimed when logging into Pokémon between Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 at 9:59 a.m. your local time.

During the event, PokéStop Showcases will be active. The theme of these contests is to submit the biggest Pokémon being requested. (Niantic has hinted that Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble will be featured.) This section will be updated once the PokéStop Showcases are active.
