The final event for Pokémon GO’s Season of World of Wonders is an Incense Day event dedicated to Ferroseed. Of course, Grass- and Steel-type Pokémon will also be featured during the event via Incense encounters. Pokémon GO’s Season of World of Wonders – Incense Day: Ferroseed

Begins: Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 11 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 5 p.m. your local time.

 

Pokémon featured – Ferroseed + Grass- and Steel-type Pokémon

 

 

For Incense Day: Ferroseed, more than just one Pokémon will be featured.

  • Ferroseed: The main Pokémon of this event, Ferroseed will be available to encounter via Incense (regardless of which “rotating habitat”). Encounters and Shiny encounters (via Incense) will be increased during the event.
  • Grass-type Pokémon: Hisuian Voltorb, Tangela, Hoppip, Petilil, Phantump, and Morelull will also be attracted to Incense, but will only appear during select hours.
  • Steel-type Pokémon: Galarian Meowth, Magnemite, Aron, Beldum, Shieldon, and Togedemaru will also be attracted to Incense, but will only appear during select hours.

 

Event Bonuses

  • Incense is more likely to attract Ferroseed
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Ferroseed
  • Daily Adventure Incense lasts twice as long when activated during the event.

 

This event happens during the Ultra Space Wonders event, so the following bonuses will be available:

  • 2× XP for winning Ultra Beast Raid Battles

 

Event Boxes

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live.

  • Incense Day Bundle (1 PokéCoin, purchase limit 1): 1 Incense

 

Incense Encounters

During the event, Incense encounters will be available. Yet, these encounters will rotate each hour (similar to rotating habitats from previous events). Grass-type and Steel-type Pokémon will be featured during specific hours:

  • Grass-type Pokémon: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. your local time
  • Steel-type Pokémon: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time

 

Grass-type Pokémon

  • The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense when activated during their Incense hour: Ferroseed*, Hisuian Voltorb*, Tangela*, Hoppip*, Petilil*, Phantump*, and Morelull*.

 

Steel-type Pokémon

  • The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense when activated during their Incense hour: Ferroseed*, Galarian Meowth*, Magnemite*, Aron*, Beldum*, Shieldon*, and Togedemaru.

 

Note: Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”

 

Field Research Tasks

There will be event-exclusive Field Research Tasks available and the rewards include the following: Stardust, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and Pinap Berries. These Field Research Tasks can be found when spinning PokéStops (and acquired if you have an open slot in your Field Research menu) when the event is active.

  • Task: Catch 5 Grass-type Pokémon
    • Reward: 5 Great Balls OR 2 Ultra Balls OR 2 Pinap Berries OR 500 Stardust
  • Task: Catch 5 Steel-type Pokémon
    • Reward: 5 Great Balls OR 2 Ultra Balls OR 2 Pinap Berries OR 500 Stardust

 

PokéStop Showcase

During the event, PokéStop Showcases will be active. The theme of these contests is to submit the biggest event-themed Pokémon being requested. This section will be updated once the event starts.

  • Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 8 p.m. your local time: Ferroseed
