Pokémon GO’s A Palden Adventure event continues thanks to an Ultra Unlock bonus earned from Pokémon GO Fest 2023. For this leg of the event, a few more Pokémon from Paldea are debuting in Pokémon GO. There’s also a slight shake-up with the Raid roster, new Field Research tasks, a new PokéStop Showcase theme, and the addition of a paid Timed Research. But, for the most part, a majority of A Paldean Adventure event’s features are still happening.

Now, check out what’s happening during the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Adventures Abound – Ultra Unlock: Paldea

Begins: Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Friday, September 15th, 2023 at 8 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Nymble, Pawmi, Bombirdier, Frigibax + evolutions

A few more Pokémon from Paldea are appearing in Pokémon (along with their evolutions, provided you have enough Candy to evolve ’em).

  • Nymble: To catch a Nymble of your own, you’ll have to find them via wild encounters.
    • Lokix: To get a Lokix, you’ll have to catch and Nymble and have 50 Nymble Candies to evolve ’em into Lokix.
  • PawmiYou can find Pawmi in the wild and via special encounters (Field Research encounters and from the paid Timed Research).
    • Pawmo: To get Pawmo, you’ll have to evolve a Pawmi with 25 Pawmi Candies.
      • Pawmot: To add a Pawmot to your team, you’ll need to take your Pawmo on an adventure! Set Pawmo as your Buddy Pokémon and explore 25 km. Once that requirement is fulfilled, you can evolve ’em into Pawmot thanks to 100 Pawmi Candies.
  • Bombirdier: You can find Bombirdier in 3-Star Raids and if you’re lucky, you could encounter its shiny version!
  • Frigibax: Frigibax will only appear in the wild if you’re very lucky during this event. After the event ends, you’ll have to get lucky and see if you can hatch one from a 10 km Egg.
    • Arctibax: To get Artctibax, you’ll have to obtain a Frigibax and have 25 Frigibax Candies to evolve ’em.
      • Baxcalibur: To obtain Frigibax’s final evolution, you’ll need 100 Frigibax Candies to evolve an Arctibax.
