Returning for a fourth year, the Fashion Week event is introducing more stylish Pokémon in Pokémon GO. This time, Fashion Week is being celebrated in November and is still on the Wooper celebration train. Wooper, Quagsire, and Dragonite will be sporting fashionable looks matching previously released Fashion Week Pokémon. Don’t worry though, as all Costumed Pokémon featured in previous Fashion Week events will be back. Plus a Costumed Pikachu wishing for some summer weather (because it’s Pokémon GO and we always have to have a Costumed Pikachu or Costumed Eevee available for a brief time). (For more details about the Season of Adventures Abound, you can check out our overall Season of Adventures Abound guide hub.)

Now, check out what’s happening during the Fashion Week 2023 event with our guide below:

Pokémon GO’s Season of Adventures Abound – Fashion Week 2023

Begins: Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, November 19th, 2023 at 8 p.m. your local time.

Pokémon debuts – Costumed Dragonite, Costumed Wooper, and Costumed Quagsire + Return of Costumed Pokémon

Walking the runway for Fashion Week 2023 are three new Costumed Pokémon, plus the return of Costumed Pokémon from previous Fashion Week events (and a Summer flair Costumed Pikachu):

  • New:
    • Wooper wearing a fashionable costume (Costumed Wooper): Sporting a black beanie, this Costumed Wooper can be found via Wild Encounters, One-Star Raids, in 5 km Eggs obtained during the event, as a reward catch encounter in Field Research tasks, and possibly as a reward catch encounter in the paid Timed Research.
      • Quagsire wearing a fashionable costume (Costumed Quagsire): This Costumed Quagsire is only available by evolving a Costumed Wooper. You’ll need to have a Costumed Wooper and 50 Wooper Candies.
    • Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume (Costumed Dragonite): Step aside Dratini and Dragonair, it’s Dragonite that’ll be wearing a bowtie and glasses. You can find this Dragonite in Three-Star Raids and as the reward catch encounter for completing the event’s Collection Challenge.
  • Returning:
    • Previous Fashion Week Costumed Pokémon: Every previously released Fashion Week Costumed Pokémon is back (2020, 2021, and 2022). This includes Smoochum, Kirlia, Shinx, Croagunk, Toxicroak, Butterfree, Sneasel, Blitzle, Diglett, Dugtrio, and Absol.
      • Note: Toxicroak and Dugtrio can only be obtained via evolving the corresponding Costumed Pokémon.
    • Pikachu with summer flair (Costumed Pikachu): Initially released for Pokémon GO’s 2nd Anniversary in 2018, followed by a reappearance for Pokémon GO Fest 2019 (Yokohama, Japan) and Pokémon GO Fest 2020 Weekly Challenge 3, they’re back for this year’s Fashion Week. You’ll only find them via Wild Encounter. (There is a chance that they may be a reward catch encounter with the paid Timed Research.)
      • Pichu with summer flair (Costumed Pichu): Just like the Pikachu with summer flair, the Pichu version returns too. To add this Costumed Pichu to your collection, you’ll need luck on your side with hatching 5km Eggs obtained during the event.
      • Raichu with summer flair (Costumed Raichu): While not advertised for Fashion Week 2023, if you have 50 Pikachu Candies, you can evolve your Pikachu with summer flair into a Raichu with summer flair.

Note: Going forward, these Pokémon will be referred to as “Costumed” rather than the exact outfit they are wearing.
