After Trainers who braved the desert in Las Vegas for the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas event, it’s now the rest of the world’s turn for the Global event!

Primal Kyogre* and Primal Groudon* are now available worldwide for Trainers. They can only be found in Primal Raids (similar to Mega Raids). A successful win against these Legendaries will reward you with a catch encounter of Kyogre* or Groudon* (depending on which Primal Reversion you faced), Primal Energy (needed to make your own Kyogre or Groudon to Primal Reversion), and other items.

New Pikachu dressed as Brendan and May (the male and female playable Trainer from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) will also be debuting worldwide. Going forward, these Pokémon will be referred to as “Costumed” and note if the Brendan and/or May version will be available in specific conditions (i.e.: Incense wild encounters).

Shiny debuts include Unown H, Surskit, Gulpin, Torkoal, Cacnea, Tropius, Relicanth, and Kecleon. This also includes any evolved forms.

Event Bonuses

  • One additional guaranteed Candy XL from all in-person Primal Raids.
  • Chance of receiving 5 Latios Mega Energy OR 5 Latias Mega Energy from spinning PokéStops.
  • Ruby vs. Sapphire Challenge (Pokémon in Primal Raids and in the wild boosted each hour based on the “winning” team).
