As we get closer to Pokémon GO’s 10th anniversary and the global version of Pokémon GO Fest, the leaders for Team Mystic, Instinct, and Valor will be hosting their own events! To kick things off, Blanche, the leader of Team Mystic, will have a Field Research and Incense focused event. This is also the perfect time for the previously released Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory with a background inspired by Team Mystic to return!

Pokémon GO’s Season of Memories in Motion – Blanche’s Quest for Knowledge

Begins: Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 8 p.m. your local time.

 

Pokémon featured – Water-type Pokémon and more + Costumed Lapras returns

 

 

Pokémon associated with Blanche will be featured during this event. Which means get ready for a selection of Water-type Pokémon as well as some Dragon-type Pokémon. Notably, Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory with a background inspired by Team Mystic returns! Previously available during two events, Trainers can encounter this Costumed Lapras via the event’s GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe rewards. Just make sure to reach those ranks before the event is over!

Note: Going forward, “Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory with a background inspired by Team Mystic” will be referred to as “Costumed Lapras”.

 

Event Bonuses

  • Event-themed wild Pokémon.
  • Event-themed Field Research.
  • Featured Pokémon attracted to Incense.

 

Plus, there will be an event-dedicated GO Pass (and GO Pass Deluxe) active during the event. The following bonuses can be earned when progressing through ranks:

  • Tier 1 (Rank 10):
    • 1 Additional Candy for evolving Pokémon.
    • Increased chance to receive Candy XL for evolving Pokémon (Trainers Level 31+).
  • Tier 2 (Rank 20):
    • 2× Incense duration.

 

Plus, the following Season of Memories in Motion bonuses will be in effect:

  • Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak.
  • Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak.
  • One additional Candy when trading Pokémon in-person.
  • Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon in-person.

 

And if Trainers reach specific ranks in the GO Pass and/or GO Pass Deluxe, then the following bonuses will also be active until Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time:

  • Tier 1 (Rank 25): 
    • Open up to 40 Gifts per day
    • Receive up to 125 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs
    • Hold up to 10 additional Gifts in your Item Bag
  • Tier 2 (Rank 50):
    • 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration
  • Tier 3 (Rank 75):
    • Increased Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs.

There will be event-exclusive Field Research Tasks available and the rewards include the following Pokémon encounters: Squirtle*, Alolan Vulpix*, Krabby*, Cubone*, Horsea*, Staryu*, Lapras*, Larvitar*, Sableye*, Cubchoo*, Sinistea*, and Tandemaus*. These Field Research Tasks can be found when spinning PokéStops (and acquired if you have an open slot in your Field Research menu) when the event is active.

GO Pass: Blanche’s Quest for Knowledge

 

GO Pass

A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards. Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Blanche’s Quest for Knowledge on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Monday, June 1st, 2026, at 8 p.m. your local time.

 

GO Pass Deluxe

For US$4.99, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass that offers upgraded rewards and faster progression.

For US$6.99, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks to also automatically earn enough GO Points to reach Rank 7.

For US$8.99. Trainers can get the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks to automatically earn enough GO points to reach Rank 7 as well as receive additional items.

While progressing through the GO Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.

 

Reward Information

Complete Pass Tasks to rank up your GO Pass.

GO Pass: encounters with event-themed Pokémon (Costumed Lapras*, Vaporeon*, Larvitar*, Sinistea* and more), 1 Super Rocket Radar, Mysterious Components, and Shadow Shards.

GO Pass Deluxe: additional encounters Costumed Lapras*, Sinistea*, and more, plus earn Premium Battle Passes, Glacial Lure Modules, and more!

Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at 8 p.m. your local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!

 

Earning Points

In order to earn rewards from GO Pass, you’ll need to partake in specific Pass Tasks to earn points. To reach a single rank, you’ll need to earn 100 Points. Be aware that there will be daily limits to earning points (500 points per day), until the final few days of the event where there will be no limit (Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at 12 a.m. to Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 7:59 p.m. your local time).
