It’s the second month of Pokémon GO’s Season of Heritage. With Team Mystic leader Blanche leading events in December, it’s now Team Instinct leader Spark’s turn to take over. After celebrating the New Year, Spark is back on track with assisting Professor Willow and tackling the next mechanism with the mysterious door.

According to “Spark’s intuition” this mechanism might be unlocked with the help of Rock- and Steel-type Pokémon. You’ll see an abundance of certain Pokémon of these types appear during a brand new event – Mountains of Power – along with a few other surprises.

Notably, this event will be the official debut of Slugma and Magcargo’s shiny versions as well as Mega Aerodactyl (appearing in Mega Raids)!
