It’s a competitive, battling kind of weekend for Trainers in Pokémon GO! For one day only, Trainers can bring their new Dragonite from the November 2022 Community Day Classic event (or any of their battle-ready Pokémon) into GO Battle League. This time, Trainers can battle in more sets, get more Stardust rewards, and are guaranteed reward encounters with the Milk Cow Pokémon – Miltank.

Ready to battle it out in Pokémon GO? Here are all the details of this event:

 

Pokémon GO’s Season of Light – GO Battle Day: Miltank

Begins: Sunday, November 6th, 2022 at 12 a.m. your local time.

Ends: Sunday, November 6th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. your local time.

 

Event Bonuses

  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20, for a total of 100 battles!
  • 4× Stardust from win rewards

 

Miltank Reward Encounter Bonuses (active from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. your local time only)

  • Miltank will be guaranteed to appear as a reward encounter.
  • In each set, the first win reward from the Basic track will be a reward encounter. The second through fifth win rewards will remain unchanged.
  • All win rewards from the Premium track will be reward encounters.
  • You’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Miltank.

 

Timed Research

A special Timed Research will be available during the entire day and its tasks will focus on battling. Trainers who complete the research can look forward to the following rewards: XP, Rare Candy, a Miltank encounter, and an Elite Charged TM. The tasks and associated rewards for this Timed Research will be added here once the event is live.

 

GO Battle Day

  • Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 5 times
    • Reward: 7,500 XP
  • Task: Battle in the GO Battle League 10 times
    • Reward: 7,500 XP
  • Task: Use 10 Super Effective Charged Attacks
    • Reward: 7,500 XP
  • Task: Power up Pokémon 10 times
    • Reward: 7,500 XP
  • Completion Rewards: 3 Rare Candies, 1 Elite Charged TM, and Miltank* Encounter.

 

Note: Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”

 

Active Competitions

The following leagues will be active:

  • Ultra League (Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP to enter)
  • Willpower Cup (Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter and only Fighting-, Psychic-, and Dark-type Pokémon may participate. Gardevoir will not be allowed for this competition.)
