Team GO Rocket has taken over the Steeled Resolve event, so it’s time for another Shadow Raid Day event this season. For this event, it’s Shadow Entei turn to be featured in Five-Star Raids, and if you’re lucky, you may even encounter a shiny one!

Pokémon GO’s Season of Memories in Motion – Entei Shadow Raid Day
Begins: Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 2 p.m. your local time.
Ends: Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 at 5 p.m. your local time.
Pokémon featured – Shadow Entei
Shadow Entei will be featuring in 5-Star Shadow Raids during the event and if you’re lucky, you may even encounter a shiny one! Of course, that is only if you successfully defeat Shadow Entei in a Shadow Raid.
Event Bonuses
- Up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Entei from Shadow Raids.
- The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, May 1st, 2026, at 5 p.m. to Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 8 p.m. PDT.
- If the event ticket is purchased:
- Up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles.
Due to this event taking place when Steeled Resolve and Steeled Resolve: Taking Over events are active, the following bonuses may also be active:
- Steeled Resolve:
- Mystery Box wait time will be reduced during the event (24 hours) Shiny Meltan will be available during the event.
- If you’re lucky, you may encounter one when opening the Mystery Box!
- Steeled Resolve: Taken Over:
- Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. (About every 2 hours.)
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Frustration (Charged Attack).
- Pokémon caught via One- and Three-Star Shadow Raids during the event will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP.
- Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to hatch Shiny Varoom from 12 km eggs—if you’re lucky!
- Steeled Resolve’s Event-exclusive GO Pass:
- Tier 1 (Rank 10): 2× Catch Candy.
- Tier 2 (Rank 20): Earn more Stardust from defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts.
Plus, the following Season of Memories in Motion bonuses will be in effect:
- Increased XP for a seven-day PokéStop spin streak.
- Increased XP and Stardust for a seven-day Pokémon catch streak.
- One additional Candy when trading Pokémon in-person.
- Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon in-person.
And if Trainers reach specific ranks in the GO Pass and/or GO Pass Deluxe, then the following bonuses will also be active until Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time:
- Tier 1 (Rank 25):
- Open up to 40 Gifts per day.
- Receive up to 125 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs.
- Hold up to 10 additional Gifts in your Item Bag.
- Tier 2 (Rank 50):
- 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration.
- Tier 3 (Rank 75):
- Increased Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs.
If GO Pass Deluxe is purchased, then the following bonuses will active when Rank 25 is reached instead, until Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 at 10 a.m. your local time:
- Tier 1 (Rank 25):
- Open up to 50 Gifts per day.
- Receive up to 150 Gifts per day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs.
- Hold up to 20 additional Gifts in your Item Bag.

If any special event boxes or bundles are released during the event, they’ll be listed here once the event is live. Daily bundles are also available and can be viewed online via the Pokémon GO Web Store.
- Entei Shadow Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box (US$4.99, purchase limit 1, Web Store only): 1 Event Ticket, 1 Premium Battle Pass, and 60 Reward Points.

5-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Entei will be active and given priority during this event since it is a Raid Day event.

Additional Note: Pokémon marked with an * means that “If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!”
Paid Ticket – Entei Shadow Raid Day
During the Entei Shadow Raid Day event, Trainers can purchase a ticket to access additional bonuses that will be active during the event. For US$4.99 OR US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll get the following bonuses:
- Up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles.
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles.
According to the fine print, “[t]ickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service).” Tickets can also be gifted to Trainers you’re friends with provided that you have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with them. This can be done via the in-game shop and by selecting the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button. Tickets purchased for friends are nonrefundable as well.
Please keep in mind that these bonuses will only be active on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. your local time.
