Pokémon GO’s Season of Precious Paths’ Bonus Timed Research Unown X, Y, Z, and A guide

For the Season of Precious Paths (and, technically, Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global), Pokémon GO’s social media campaign is all about rewarding Trainers with encounters with Unown, X, Y, Z, and A. Provided that the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel gets 10,000 new subscribers. Well, that goal was crushed during the first day of the announcement and now codes are being released for incredibly easy Timed Research tasks that will reward Trainers with Unown Candies and encounters with Unown X, Y, Z, and A.

Pokémon GO’s Season of Precious Paths – Bonus Timed Research Unown X, Y, Z, and A

Begins: Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT

Ends: Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at 6 p.m. your local time.

 

Pokémon featured – Unown X, Y, Z, and A

 

 

Unown X, Y, Z, and A aren’t typically found in Pokémon GO in the wild. You mainly see them as Incense encounters for paid ticket holders for various Pokémon GO events. Here, thanks to reaching the 10,000 subscribers milestone on YouTube, Trainers can get encounters with Unown X, Y, Z, and A, provided they redeem the codes for these Timed Research quests and complete them before they end.

 

Timed Research – Bonus Timed Research Unown X, Y, Z, and A

Three free Timed Research quests would be issued to all Trainers via redemption codes if certain subscriber milestones were reached on the official Pokémon GO YouTube Channel. (Timed Research quests for 2,500, 5,000, and 10,000 new subscribers.) A code was initially shared on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, but the remaining codes were discovered and shared within the community the same day.
