Lucina, one of the heroes of Fire Emblem Awakening, returns in Fire Emblem Engage as the Emblem of the Princess Exalt, who will assist your army in its quest.

True to Awakening’s themes of bonds, Lucina’s skillset is built around chain attacks and keeping allies close at hand. Synchro Skill Dual Strike enables her unit to chain attack foes as if they were a Backup unit, adding some useful chip damage to your other party members’ strikes. Engage Skill Bonded Shield will have her defending adjacent allies for initial attacks at a high rate of success, and Engage Attack All For One will call upon all nearby allies to engage in a link of chain attacks. Unlike a number of other Emblems that can practically solo sides of the map by themselves, Lucina has to be utilized more strategically, sticking by other army members to maximize her abilities’ usefulness – while chain attacks’ damage output may seem inconsequential at first, proper positioning and army strength can lead to some truly devastating numbers. Lucina’s unit is best used around points of the map where your army will cluster, and isn’t suited for soloing.

Lucina’s Engage Weapon Noble Rapier acts similarly to other rapier-type Emblem weapons, with effectiveness against cavalry and armor units. Parthia not only gives her a ranged option but boosts Res slightly and doubles EXP. And her legendary Parallel Falchion will slay any dragons she comes across.

How to obtain Lucina

Lucina will automatically join your army a few turns into Chapter 11: Retreat. She’ll automatically equip herself to Alear for the map, and prove valuable in helping you make your escape. After the chapter, you can equip her to any character you’d like.
