While Sinnoh has a fairly modest Pokédex of its own, it did give plenty of Pokémon much needed evolutions. Several new methods were introduced, including evolution brought about by knowing certain moves. Seven evolutions were move dependent in Gen IV, and have remained so in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. One of these evolutions is Rhyperior, the Gen IV evolution of Gen I’s Rhydon.

Read on to learn where to find Rhyhorn and Rhydon and eventually evolve them into Rhyperior!

Where to find Rhyhorn in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

While you can find Rhydon in the wild in Pokémon BDSP, you may want to start your journey toward owning a Rhyperior with a Rhyhorn instead. You can find Rhyhorn most readily in the Grand Underground, as a rare spawn in various Pokémon Hideaways, and then evolve it into Rhydon at level 42. It can also be found on Route 227 and in Stark Mountain, though those are both only accessible post-game and also feature wild Rhydon.

Here are all the places you can catch a Rhyhorn:
