Sinnoh introduced several means of evolution for older Pokémon, and while we’ve drifted away from some of those since Sword and Shield, many are back in full force for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This includes a pair of Pokémon that only reach their full potential when leveled up within one of the region’s most distinguishing landmarks – Mt. Coronet.

Here’s how to evolve Nosepass into Probopass in Pokémon BDSP. To learn how to evolve Magnemite, check out our Magnezone guide.

Where to find Nosepass in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Nosepass is only available post-game in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Once you have the National Pokédex, you’ll be able to encounter swarms of Pokémon once per day, each being a mass outbreak of a single species in a specific location. By checking a Sinnoh television, or talking to Dawn/Lucas’ sister in Sandgem Town, you can find out what Pokémon is swarming on a given day. Magnemite itself can also be caught this way in Fuego Ironworks, but going with the Grand Underground method will be much earlier for players.

Nosepass will swarm on Route 206 at Level 14. Simply weaken it and throw a Poké Ball to catch it!

Once you have a Nosepass, you simply need to head to Mt. Coronet and level it up once. Doing so will evolve it into Probopass via the special magnetic field.
