While Sinnoh has a fairly modest Pokédex of its own, it did give plenty of Pokémon much needed evolutions. Several new methods were introduced, including evolution brought about by knowing certain moves. Seven evolutions were move dependent in Gen IV, and have remained so in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. One of these evolutions is Lickilicky, the Gen IV evolution of Gen I’s Lickitung.

Read on to learn how to evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky, and where to find the former!

Where to find Lickitung in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

You can find Lickitung as a rare spawn in various Pokémon Hideaways of the Grand Underground, but if you progress too far into the game it might not have Rollout — the move that it needs to evolve into Lickilicky.

Lickitung can be found in the following locations:

How to evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Lickitung can evolve into Lickilicky once it knows the move Rollout. It learns Rollout at Level 6, meaning it’s best to catch one as early as possible in the game to access this evolution. If you catch a Lickitung without Rollout, either Underground or via a Swarm at Lake Valor, you can re-learn Rollout by talking to the Move Reminder in Pastoria City. Have a Heart Scale for him, and then level up Lickitung once it knows the move.
