While Sinnoh has a fairly modest Pokédex of its own, it did give plenty of Pokémon much needed evolutions. Several new methods were introduced, including evolution brought about by knowing certain moves. Seven evolutions were move dependent in Gen IV, and have remained so in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. One of these evolutions is Bonsly, the Gen IV pre-evolution of Gen II’s Sudowoodo.

Where to find Bonsly in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Wild Bonsly can be found on Routes 209 and 210, but only in Shining Pearl. In Brilliant Diamond, they can be found in the Trophy Garden.

How to evolve Bonsly into Sudowoodo in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Bonsly was another new baby in Sinnoh, and could be said to be Mime Jr.’s counterpart in that it evolves by knowing Mimic. It learns Mimic at level 16, and knowing that will trigger its evolution into Sudowoodo.
