Game Freak is shaking up the Pokémon formula with Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Trainers will now explore the Sinnoh region, but hundreds of years in the past – which means evolution methods are somewhat different compared to other titles (like Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl). Yes, leveling up Pokémon is required, but this game also allows Trainers to trigger evolution manually via the Pokémon menu instead of it happening right after a battle. Throw in new Pokémon, Hisuian forms, new evolution methods, new items, and more, you’ll soon learn you’re not in the Sinnoh of today anymore.

Where to find Stantler in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
The first step in getting a Wyrdeer is finding its Gen II pre-evolution, Stantler. You can find Stantler in the following locations in Hisui:
- Obsidian Fieldlands – Deetrack Heights
- Cobalt Coastlands – Windbreak Stand
- Coronet Highlands – Wayward Wood
How to evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
In order to evolve Stantler into Wyrdeer, you must have Stantler use the attack Psyshield Bash at least 20 times in the Agile Style. Once you’ve reached that requirement, you’ll be to evolve the Stantler from the Pokémon menu (the “Evolve” option will when selecting that Pokémon.)
