The long-awaited sequel to what might be the most beloved Nintendo Switch game is nearly here. After an early reveal and being named 2023’s Most Anticipated Game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is set to give fans of Breath of the Wild everything they’ve been craving. No bonuses have been announced for Tears of the Kingdom at this time.

 

Is there a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom special edition?

 

Currently, no Tears of the Kingdom collector’s or special editions have been announced. Breath of the Wild received a Master Edition at launch, so there is a chance Nintendo would follow up with something similar for Tears of the Kingdom. 

 

Will there be a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom special edition Switch or Joy-Con?

 

No announcement for a Tears of the Kingdom Switch has been made, though one is rumored. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for a high profile game like this to come with a special edition console, and the Zelda series has often been given that treatment by Nintendo. If anything, a Tears of the Kingdom OLED seems most likely, but that’s merely speculation.

As for Joy-Con, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD did receive that treatment alongside the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo. Currently there’s no word on a similar accessory for Tears of the Kingdom.
