It’s finally here! The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available, and like Breath of the Wild before it, the game is chock-full of amazing amiibo functionality.
How do I get paraglider fabric?
Like with Breath of the Wild, one of Link’s new abilities in Tears of the Kingdom is the power to scan in amiibo. This functionality unlocks after completing the first section of the game. Scanning in select Zelda series amiibo gives you the ability to unlock one of over 20 unique fabrics for the paraglider. Keep in mind, even though you have the amiibo, it may take many attempts before the fabric drops.
How often can I scan amiibo?
You can scan each amiibo one time every day.
How do I customize the paraglider with the new fabric?
Unlocking special fabric is only the first step in the process of getting a brand-new paraglider design. Before you can fly through the skies with the new fabric, you have to connect with our old friend Sayge at the dye shop in Hateno Village. Speak with him and he will give you the option of customizing your paraglider with one of your new fabrics. Just remember to bring 20 Rupees with you.
