Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are finally here and there are loads of Pokémon to discover and evolve in the Paldea region. In this guide, we’ll be looking at Charcadet and learning how to evolve it into Armarouge or Ceruledge!
Where to find Charcadet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Charcadet can be found in several areas, but you will probably have the most luck in Area Three of the South Providence.
How to evolve Charcadet into Armarouge of Ceruledge in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Depending on which version of the game you picked up, evolving Charcadet will be a bit different. See below for details:

In Pokémon Violet, you will need to head to the town of Zapapico. Once there, find a woman near the center of town who will offer to trade you Malicious Armor for 10 Sinistea Chips. This armor is the evolutionary item needed to evolve into Ceruledge.
As you would imagine, you will need to battle quite a few Sinistea to acquire what you need. Your best bet to find them is near Alfornada. Typically, you wouldn’t find yourself in this town right away, so prepare yourself for some high-powered Pokémon in the area.
Once you have the 10 chips, head back to Zapapico and make the trade! This armor acts the same as any other evolutionary item, so simply use it on Charcadet to trigger the evolution!
Pokémon Scarlet – Evolve into Armarouge

In Pokémon Scarlet the method is very similar, but instead of Malicious Armor, this time you need Auspicious Armor. This armor can be obtained by speaking to a man in the town of Zapapico located in the same area as outlined above.
Once you speak to him, he will tell you that he will trade you the amour you need if you bring him 10 Bronzor Fragments. These fragments are commonly dropped by defeating Bronzor in battle. You can typically find Bronzor hanging around the ruins of Paldea at night.
Once you have the fragments, return to the man in Zapapico and get your armor!
The armor acts like any other evolutionary item and giving it to Charcadet will trigger an evolution.
