We’re only a few weeks out from the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and some lucky media outlets (I’m totally not jealous) have gotten their hands on a preview build of the game. IGN specifically has done some fantastic reporting on what we can expect to see from various aspects of the game, including the cooking process.

According to IGN, Link now has a portable cooking pot that enables you to cook meals almost anywhere in the vast Kingdom of Hyrule. However, the pots are disposable and will break after a single use, so players need to make each cooking session count.

Additionally, the game features a much-needed recipe database that displays a list of uncovered recipes, the required ingredients, the status enhancements they provide to Link, and a beautiful image of the finished dish.

Are you eager to get cooking in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? The game will be launched on May 12th! To learn more, check out our handy pre-order guide and make sure to read the extensive preview from IGN for more details.
