Nintendo has had an exciting night at 2023 The Game Awards. Not only has Super Mario Bros. Wonder received the award for Best Family Game, but now the Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom has, justifiably, taken the award for Best Action/Adventure Game.
Tears of The Kingdom was nominated in an especially prominent year for the genre, beating out Triple-A heavy hitters like Alan Wake 2, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Spider-Man 2 and Resident Evil 4. This is no small victory for Nintendo’s most adventurous franchise. (You like what I did there?)
This may not be the only award The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom takes home tonight — it’s also a Game of The Year contender!
