BREATH OF THE WILD DLC PACK 1 WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY

Nintendo surprised us all tonight by unveiling the contents of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Pack 1 DLC. NINTENDO WIRE’S THRILLING WEEKEND MARIO KART 8 DELUXE TOURNAMENT

MARIO KART 8 DELUXE SMASHES FRANCHISE SALES RECORDS

According to Nintendo, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold over 459,000 units, officially making it the fastest-selling title in the series. In completely unrelated news, roughly ten times the number of tears have been shed this past weekend as a result of spiky blue turtle shells.

THE NINTENDO SWITCH TAKES TO THE SKIES

A Nintendo representative confirmed that demand for the Switch was so incredibly high that consoles were actually being transported by air rather than by cargo ship in order to meet demand.

FALL DEEPER DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE WITH MORE MARIO & LUIGI SUPERSTAR SAGA DX SPECULATION

Some more juicy gossip emerged courtesy of Superstar’s curious 3DS menu icon. It would seem Bowser’s minions have some sort of role to play in the game’s deluxe port, though only time will tell.

KOEI TECMO LOVES THE NINTENDO SWITCH

During a financial results briefing this week, chairman of Koei Tecmo Keiko Erikawa professed his love for Nintendo’s new hybrid console, stating that Fire Emblem Warriors is not the only Switch-exclusive title being worked on by the company. Kirby Super Star Warriors, anyone?

COSMOG HEADLINES A NEW STAR-STUDDED LINE OF POKÉ MERCH

A new line of merchandise is making its way to the Pokémon Center in Japan on May 20th. The Look Upon the Stars series will feature a darker color palette than previous collections along with themes of stars and constellations front and center.

NINTENDO NOT AMUSED BY BREATH OF THE NES

The creators of the 8-bit fanmade project Breath of the NES received A DMCA notice, requesting that all content be removed due to copyright infringement of Zelda characters and images. Meanwhile, in the app store

WHO KNEW PLUMBERS COULD BE SO STYLISH


The results are in for Japanese clothing company Uniqlo’s recently held contest for fan submitted Nintendo styles! Check out the video below to witness a handful of the winning styles in action before emptying your wallets on your favorites.

SEIKEN DENSETSU COLLECTION STEALS MY HEART WITH AWESOME NEW FEATURES

The official Seiken Densetsu Japanese Twitter account shared some videos highlighting various cool features hitting up the series’ sacred collection: from Game Boy color palette swaps and screen size adjustments to quick save options and a full music gallery. Can we get a western localization now, please?

WITNESS HELIX’S BUTTERY BOBS AND TURBULENT TUMBLES

Newly revealed ARMS character Helix has made another social media appearance. Check out the gastric gooball in all its wibbly, wobbly glory.

NINTENDO WINS ANOTHER MERITLESS PATENT LAWSUIT

Nintendo won a rather baffling seven year-old lawsuit today against RecogniCorp, LLC who claimed Mii characters exercised the same techniques for making police sketches of suspects. Yup, it’s as crazy a claim as it sounds.

NEW STREET FIGHTER REWARDS HADOUKEN MY NINTENDO

In celebration of Ultimate Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers beating up your Nintendo Switch later this month, My Nintendo has a few of the series’ many Wii U and 3DS retro ports up for grabs.
