A brand-new set of content is coming to Pokémon Sword and Shield in the form of the Expansion Pass! That’s right: Paid DLC is coming to Game Freak’s latest Pokémon outing on the Nintendo Switch! The Expansion Pass is split into two DLC packs: “The Isle of Armor” and “The Crown Tundra.” Aside from a host of new Pokémon, new Galarian Forms, and over 200 returning monsters from past games, several new Gigantamax Forms will also be introduced in the “Isle of Armor” and “Crown Tundra” DLC for Sword and Shield. Gigantamax Venusaur and Blastoise
The OG starters from Generation I will be receiving Gigantamax forms in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Expansion Pass, just like their Kanto brethren Charizard did in the base game.
Gigantamax Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon
The final evolutions of the three Galar starters will be receiving Gigantamax forms.
Gigantamax Urshifu
Both of new Pokémon Urshifu’s forms will receive Gigantamax forms, as well.
