With every Pokémon generation comes a new and exciting way to evolve the critters — who could forget holding the Nintendo 3DS upside down to evolve Inkay? Sword and Shield are no different, with more than a few odd methods for getting stronger Pokémon.

How to evolve Galarian Farfetch’d into Sirfetch’d
Befitting a weapon-wielding Pokémon of virtue, you’ll need to score three Critical Hits in one battle with your Galarian Farfetch’d before it can evolve into Sirfetch’d.

For this one poor little Yamask will need to take some damage – at least 49 HP’s worth, to be exact. Then you’ll need to walk under the stone sculpture at the Dusty Bowl Wild Area.
