The Squid Research Lab is back with a new finding! After this week’s mega-packed 32-minute long Splatoon 3 Direct, you’d think there wouldn’t be anything left until the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premier. Nope!
Over the last few months, the official Splatoon Twitter accounts have been featuring various weapons available in Splatoon 3. Now that the brand new Splatana weapon has been announced, it’s time that the SRL publishes its report on it.
Let’s look at the Splatana Wiper. This is a thin, user-friendly splatana that uses sponge technology to ensure a balanced ink-fling with every swipe. Use horizontal slashes like jabs to keep opponents at bay while infiltrating enemy territory with your superior mobility! pic.twitter.com/wSu8ibQBWX

Behold the first Splatana we ever saw! The Splatana Wiper can fling ink horizontally, or send ink flying vertically when properly charged. It’s light too, making it a good go-to weapon for Inklings and Octolings who like to be quick in their ink or on their feet.
Next, the Splatana Stamper! This is a heavy weapon that can drench opponents in ink using horizontal slashes or charged slashes. Hit ’em with a charged slash, and then pepper in horizontal slashes while they’re reeling. Splatana-BOOYAH-rama! You, uh, don’t have to say that. pic.twitter.com/AcmtUSKz1j

And now a second Splatana! This particular build will be a bit more on the heavy side, but will have opponents drowning in ink. Resembling a hodgepodge of office supplies (part scissors and part roller stamp), the Splatana Stamper fits right in with the rest of Splatoon’s weapons.
Maybe all of us Squid- and Octokids will get lucky and see the Splatana Wiper included in the arsenal pool for the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premier. If not, we’ll be able to try these weapons out when Splatoon 3 launches on Friday, September 9th.
