Gearing up for its massive Version 2.0 update this week and paid DLC expansion, there’s something else new in Animal Crossing: New Horizons this week. Sure, it may be a simple seasonal item, but they’re perfect for the upcoming fall nights (if you have a Northern Hemisphere island). Released in honor of St. Martin’s Day, the official Animal Crossing Twitter account announced that starting today, special handheld lanterns are now available in-game.

If you have the Version 1.11.0 update installed, lanterns are available for 1,100 Bells within the Nook Shopping app (under the Seasonal tab). They’ll be available for purchase until November 11th in-game. There are six designs in total to collect, yet you’ll only be able to purchase one specific design. Luckily, these handheld lanterns are customizable for the small fee of one customization kit.
