This year’s 25th anniversary bash for Pokémon has been filled with exciting announcements, a plethora of merchandise featuring the 25th anniversary logo, and has inspired fans worldwide to create even more fanworks. Of course, there have been a few hiccups along the way – the demand for Pokémon goods (specifically the Pokémon TCG) has exceeded expectations and scalping nightmares of ye olde past. Yet, the chaos surround the trading card game hasn’t broken me… that honor goes to the Pikachu Butter Dish that Pokémon Center has just released.

It’s adorable, practical, something my kid-self would have wanted in 1998 (I was weird then and I’m weird now), and it has made me realize that I’m basically the Pokémon fan version of my mother whose Disney collection has invaded my life since Day 1. … And I need it right now despite the identity crisis.

If you, like me, are a Pokémon fan and are charmed by kitchen ware goods, you’ll be happy to know that there’s more. Building upon previous releases, you can now add Pikachu-themed mixing bowls, baking dishes, pie dish, serving plate, utensil holder, treat jar, and a salt & pepper shaker set.

Prices range from $19.99 (Salt & Pepper Shaker Set) to $59.99 (3-Piece Ceramic Mixing Bowls) and, hopefully, will be in stock throughout the month (unlike its Pokémon TCG brethren).
