Surprise! Previously, we reported that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s four champions were receiving amiibo reprints according to Nintendo of America’s CPSIA site. Throw in the fact that Nintendo Official UK Store was taking pre-orders for nearly the entire Legend of Zelda amiibo line too, and we thought that Nintendo was starting early for the franchise’s 35th anniversary next year.

Instead, we were blessed with a brand new game that merges Legend of Zelda’s Musou series Hyrule Warriors with the canon of Breath of the Wild. No, this isn’t a dream during the rising of a blood moon. Though, be prepared to decimate armies of bokoblins and more in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Featuring Mipha, Revali, Daruk, and Urbosa, these four champions’ amiibo reprints make sense now. Especially when Nintendo confirms that these amiibo will be available for purchase alongside Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on Friday, November 20th.

Nintendo has yet to confirm how amiibo will function in this game, but it could be as simple as the toys-to-life functionality previously present in Hyrule Warriors (one scan per day and receive in-game items). Hopefully, more will be revealed when Nintendo holds an update about the game later this month of Saturday, September 26th. For now, you can pre-order these four amiibo online at Best Buy!
