The Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection library is expanding once again. After previously being announced during New Game+ Expo, we now know when King of Fighters R-2 and Samurai Shodown! 2 will make their way to the Switch’s eShop – and it’s very, very soon.

That’s right, per the above Tweet and the Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection website, we now know these are both releasing on August 7th, aka tomorrow. Technically, SamSho! 2 was available as a preorder bonus for the most recent Samurai Shodown game on Switch, but for anyone who missed out it’ll now be purchasable by all.
Previously, I enjoyed the treatment SNK Gals Fighters received as part of this (later christened) line up. Hopefully these live up to the standard, but for fans of fighters and retro collectors you can pick them up once available for $7.99 each.
