It’s almost time – three years after Eiji Aonuma confirmed its existence, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be hitting store shelves alongside the new Nintendo Switch on March 3rd.

To get everyone hyped up and ready, we’ll be running a series of articles focusing on all of the core entries in the franchise, from the original 8-bit NES days to the modern era. If you checked out our Kirby retrospectives in the run-up to the release of Planet Robobot you know the drill!

Be sure to keep checking back on this article, as it will be continually updated with new articles as they are posted.

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.

Loving this series! I especially enjoy each game getting some true love and none being harper on. It is a great series and every entry into it has been fun and solid. I can’t wait to read the one for my second favorite Zelda game – Spirit Tracks!
