A recent report by Eurogamer is claiming that a SNES Classic Edition is set to release this holiday season. If true, let’s hope it doesn’t distract from us seeing a proper Virtual Console launch on Switch sometime this year.

THE BINDING OF ISAAC AMIIBO TEASE CONTINUES
It’s only been a few days since Edmund McMillen teased the release of an Isaac amiibo and Nicalis is already jumping in on the fun. Taking to Twitter, the company shared a prototype of what a proposed figure of the perpetually crying kid could look like. Please stop toying with my heart, guys!

BRIGHTEN UP YOUR SWITCH WITH THESE INK-TRIGUING SPLATOON 2 SWITCH ACCESSORIES
While you wait for the inevitable future announcement of game themed accessories breaking your wallet, accessory maker Keys Factory is selling a splattering of Splatoon 2 soft cases and Joy-Con skins. Everything is currently exclusive to Japan, but that’s what importing is for, right?

SPECTER OF TORMENT REAPS WII U AND 3DS THIS WEEK
Yacht Club Games finally lifted the veil on Specter of Torment’s multiplatform release! The scythe savvy anti-hero will descend upon Wii U and 3DS systems April 21st and 25th, respectively. Best of all, it’s completely free for previous owners of Shovel Knight!

FOUR NEW GALLERY FIGURES SWARM POKÉMON CENTERS
A quartet of Pokémon Gallery Figures has been added to the Pokémon Center online shop. This second wave features the likes of Jigglypuff, Vulpix, Psyduck and Cubone in some pretty sweet action poses.

A DUO OF GBA RAYMAN GAMES ONE-TWO PUNCH THE WII U VIRTUAL CONSOLE
Both Rayman 3 and Rayman Advance are hitting Wii U Virtual Consoles tomorrow. While neither game proves the best way to experience their superior console counterparts, they’ve still got plenty of personality worth checking out — even at this point in the Wii U’s lifetime.

ANOTHER FRESH BATCH OF CONTENT INVADES FIRE EMBLEM HEROES
