One of 2025’s biggest games may be heading to Nintendo Switch 2 this year, according to a respectable industry insider who has reiterated the claim.

Renowned leaker Nate the Hate has confidently proclaimed on X that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will still arrive on the system in 2026.

Nate originally made the claim back in January on his podcast, but the award-winning RPG was notably absent during last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation. This reconfirmation may reassure doubters that the game is still heading to the platform this year.

Nate the Hate has become a commonly trusted source within various gaming communities due to the accuracy of his claims. He correctly predicted the recently revealed Ocarina of Time remake, the Star Fox 64 remake, and the date of the latest Nintendo Direct ahead of their official announcements.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 claimed the majority of accolades at both the Game Awards 2025 and the Game Developers Choice Awards 2026, including “Game of the Year” at both events.
